Both brands have deep roots in Czech heritage — Botas has been making shoes for over 75 years, while Škoda celebrates its 130th anniversary this year. We believe that just like a car, a quality pair of shoes is a fundamental part of human mobility. Our customers have been stepping into Škoda cars for generations, which is why this collaboration means so much to us.
Our team of footwear experts worked closely with the Color & Trim designers from Skoda Auto on the final look of the sneakers. The result is a timeless Botas sneaker silhouette, enhanced with diagonal lines and the iconic Botas wedge, a registered utility design typical for our models. The shoes also feature a distinctive “S” with a caron – a visual reference to Škoda's new logo.

The materials and color scheme are directly inspired by the Škoda Elroq. The textures, cut, and lines on the sneakers reflect details familiar from Škoda interiors – such as horizontal lines that wrap around the foot, much like the interior of a car surrounds its passengers. We paid special attention to the materials – some elements were directly sourced from the upholstery used in Škoda vehicles.

We spent several months developing this collection – creating over 20 prototypes and fine-tuning every detail. The final sneakers combine the craftsmanship and tradition of Botas with the progressive design philosophy of Škoda.
The Škoda x Botas limited edition sneakers mark the beginning of a broader collaboration. More models and projects are already in the works, with more information to be revealed at the Milan Design Week, where Škoda will present its design output for the very first time.
