Botas has been a symbol of Czech craftsmanship, sporting tradition, and distinctive style since 1949. From Olympic medals to fashion collaborations, the Botas brand has always moved the world.
In 2023, the brand was bought by Václav Staněk, the founder of Vaska, with a single goal — to save the Czech legend. Thanks to thousands of fans in the "Save Botas" campaign, he succeeded. Today, the brand is led by his brother Vít Staněk, and Botas is entering a new era — independently and with global ambitions.

Both brands have deep roots in the Czech environment – Botas has been producing shoes for more than 75 years , while Škoda is celebrating its 130th anniversary this year.
With the Botas x Footshop collection, we are taking our idea of the perfect sneaker one step further. Handcrafted by Czechoslovak shoemakers, they meet modern streetwear design.
