The takeover of Botasek was not just like that
When Václav Staněk founded Vasky in 2016, one of his goals was to save the Czech shoe industry. And just seven years later, he got a unique opportunity to prove how serious he was. The Botas brand, a Czech shoe legend, was for sale. But it wasn't exactly worth a few crowns. And so we launched a giant Sale for Boots, in which thousands of people got involved in saving Boots. Together we did it and Botas entered his next era.

Management remains in the family
We knew from the beginning that Botasky had to live a life of its own and could not remain a part of Vasek. Therefore, Václav Staněk decided to pass on the management, but it remained in the family. The new director was Vít Staněk, a heartthrob with the soul of an athlete, who had no doubts that he would take it to the right end. And we continue to become independent. We even have our first store!

Continuing the tradition
We continue to manufacture by hand
Some things change, but the most important things remain. We still produce by hand and from the best materials. We want Botasky to continue to be synonymous with quality. After all, they are shoes worn not only by our parents and grandparents, but also by world-class athletes. We believe that Botasky does not belong in the history books, but they still have something to show for it. And who knows, maybe we'll even make it to the podium one day.

Boots go with the times, but still retain a piece of their glorious past. Some models are directly based on famous cuts - and we couldn't say goodbye to such Botas Classic. You would be hard-pressed to find a more iconic shoe in our area. But we know very well that we cannot only look backwards. That's why we're always working on new products and doing everything we can to ensure that Botasky is here with us in the best possible way.
